The owners started with the construction of the hotel in
2004 and finished it in 2006.
The hotel offers 4* rooms i.e. all the rooms have a matrimonial
bed, all furniture is massive wood, bed-clothes and others
have been chosen from the best quality of material, TV,
fridge, telephone and internet, own parking place, garden
etc.. For the children we offer at a small additional price
an extra bed.
 The
menu in the restaurant of the hotel offers the clients an
excellent choice of good meals, from the Romanian Cioarba
to the Belgian Goulash prepared with dark (Leffe) beer.
We practice the regulation that we only work with first
quality ingredients and therefore it may be that from time
to time the choice is limited.

Cozia, o ctitorie a lui Mircea cel
Batran
Nu departe de municipiul Ramnicu Valcea, pe malul
drept al Oltului, pelerinii sunt primiti cu bucurie
intr-o obste de renume a ortodoxiei – Manastirea Cozia.
Asezamantul este ctitoria domnitorului Mircea cel
Batran si a fost inaltata intre anii 1387-1388 si
sfintita pe data de 18 mai 1388. Mai tarziu (1706-1707),
boierul muntean Serban Cantacuzino a adus numeroase
modificari constructiei. Apoi cladirile au fost refacute
prin anii 1850-1856, in vremea domnitorilor munteni
Bibescu si Stirbei.

Manastirea Turnu
La poalele muntelui Cozia, nu departe de apele Oltului,
se inalta silueta zvelta a manastirii de calugari Turnu,
situata la 600 m de statia de cale ferata cu acelasi nume.
La poalele culmii Turneanu din masivul Cozia, de-a lungul
timpului, au fost multe sihastrii, chilii sapate in stanca,
dintre care unele se mai pastreaza si astazi.
In apropierea acestui vechi asezamant monastic se pastreaza
si astazi unele vestigii istorice renumite cum ar fi : castrul
roman ”Arutela”, stanca de piatra numita ”Masa lui Traian”
si baile termale de la Bivolari – pe malul stang al Oltului.

Pe teritoriul Valcii se afla monumente de arta religioasa
cum sint manastirile Cozia, Hurezi, Govora, Bistrita, Manastirea
dintr-un Lemn, Surpatele, Arnota, Episcopia Ramnicului,
fiecare cu istoria ei, pe cat de interesanta, pe atat de
tulburatoare.
"Cel mai frumos si mai rafinat exemplar de arhitectura
romaneasca", Manastirea Horezu inaltata in 1693 de
Constantin Brancoveanu, a fost inclusa in 1995 in patrimoniul
UNESCO.

The hotel also owns land and a farm in Bumbuesti which
is about 25 km from Calimanesti (in the direction of
Sibiu) and we intend to build a guesthouse so that we
can offer our clients horse trips from Calimanesti to
Bumbuesti, our clients can stay overnight in the guesthouse,
having the pleasure to be at the real country side and
traveling back one day later to the hotel in Calimanesti.
The name of the guesthouse will be “Casa Piloiu”. In
this way we want to honor the previous owner of the
land who was by the previous regime expulsed from his
property.
